Nonprofit Elects Two New Board Members

Nonprofit Indiana Connected By 25 elects two new board members.  Megan Robertson and Dan Larner join the organization’s Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of leaders from the nonprofit, business, legal and academic communities of Indiana.

Megan Robertson is the President and Owner of FrontRunner Strategies, a political consulting and issue advocacy firm.  She has been active in Republican politics for more than a decade.  Robertson successfully managed the Freedom Indiana campaign to stop a constitutional ban on gay marriage.

Dan Larner is an Executive Director and Investment Team Lead at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.  He began his career with J.P. Morgan in 2004 as an analyst in New York City, transferred to Chicago in 2006 and then returned back to Indiana in 2011 to join the J.P. Morgan Private Banking team in Indianapolis.   Larner is a 2015 graduate of the United Way of Central Indiana’s leadership development program.

Reaction to New Board Members

“We are pleased to welcome Megan and Dan to the Board,” said Indiana Connected By 25 CEO Brent Kent. “The policy and financial expertise they have will be a huge benefit to Connected By 25 as we further our mission to help foster youth successfully move into adulthood.”

It is the board members’ responsibility to provide counsel and guidance in the direction and operation of Indiana Connected By 25, while also raising awareness of the organization’s work on behalf of foster youth.

Indiana Connected By 25, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that provides financial, educational and social support to assist foster care youth at a most critical time – when they are about to or have already transitioned out of the foster care system, most often with no family or economic support. Every year in Indiana, about 500 youth age out of the foster care system and into our communities. Statistically they fare dramatically worse than 18-year-olds with parental support.
